A phenomenon which is obviously seen lately is the exploitation of one's privacy through the internet...I don't mean the one which is blown out by the media or paparazzi, I'm talking about the more popular one ➠ giving details about oneself voluntarily.DAAANG!!! does it ring ✆ a bell? are u one of them (or as I might say "us" ;p)?

networking which gives (or 'offers' will suit better, I suppose) free tickets to one's followers to know every single detail about his activities he's doing from dusk to dawn..➩ twitter!!
It started back then when the used-to-be-famous FRIENDSTER website was a hit to many people especially amongst teenagers.. having a friendster account allows you to expose yourself to virtual world, gives you credit to state your interests and to judge yourself in the 'about me' column. One was said
to be 'not cool' without having any FS account. However, many still hesitated in creating an account...they thought it's silly giving free entrance to your personal matters with no specific reasons like, for example : CV (they are meant to impress employers in purpose of getting as highly paid as possible :)), aren't they ?)

Confusingly, in the next few years after FS was crazed about...a fresh new means of networking tool came in the name of FACEBOOK. One by one began to shift to FB, though they still check their FS account...still deciding which is more happening at that moment until one time it was found that FS is no longer visited as much as they used to be. Hmmm, there must be 'something' about this Facebook thingy that has attracted people with FS accounts to switch their attention into FB. That 'something' turned out to be more interesting and challenging stuff which u don't find on FS : status, games, quizzes, gifts, and so on. Hey, no wonder this one is booming!! I remember listening to one of my friends about the fun features in FB and I was claiming that I wouldn't need to have any account on it since I still believed that it would be too complicated and not important! Well, we all know what happened next..I ended up creating FB account and hasn't been able to stop checking every notification I get (and checking whether my cooking is ready or has rotten in Cafe World ;D haha )
To my surprise, FB has coped every single group of people..even those who has no FS account now are willing to share their activities on the status update. Most friends of mine are easily tracked down on the FB search..only those who have changed their names are hard to find.

Moreover, this networking site has attracted not only teenagers but also adults in general....wow bravo to FB!!! ;)
The word 'cool' now is apparently changing meaning from giving testimonials on FS into commenting one's status or photo on FB...*those who agree may raise their hands ☝, thank you ^,^. The more often you give comments, the more exist you'll be considered...*some might think that way, I guess.
Anyway, after the great influence FB has infected...came another "transparent" tool of
networking which gives (or 'offers' will suit better, I suppose) free tickets to one's followers to know every single detail about his activities he's doing from dusk to dawn..➩ twitter!!Since all these networking tools are easily downloaded on your cellphone, I think the purpose of cellphone has shifted from only making phone calls ✆ and texting into browsing, tweeting, blogging, updating+commenting+liking status ✓....
Funny to know that every site I discussed has me on it which I guess, makes me one of those who exist on virtual social network...(rather than on a real one :D)
Here I am, publicly saying and nonchalantly admitting that I have become a victim of sites which aim in revealing my true self to those who know or want to know about me through the internet..*who's foolish and who's being fooled on this doesn't matter as for you to be reading this, has proven that u are possible of being one of my fans or stalkers hahahaha ✌ sorry, didn't mean that..I guess having too many networking accounts makes u suffer from narcism attack wooooosssshhh!!!!
Anyway, the point is everyone (count me in) seems to be lack of privacy due to their own self exposure..there will be less people who write ✍ their activities on a journal book or express their feelings on a diary since typing is easier and having other people concerned or glad about your feelings are way much thrilling ☺than keeping it for your self.
To sum it up, privacy is rare to be found on the net...but it's how u manage to reveal yourself that matters. Busying yourself on internet activities is not a crime, yet it is to be done wisely!!
nighty nite...
stay conscious to keep privacy on its price!!! ❤
